Jean Morris

Jean has always loved being surrounded by plants and nature. While living in Colorado after college, she became interested in identifying western wildflowers and trees. She picked up her passion for eastern plants and gardening years later after moving to Virginia Beach where she and her family have lived for 22 years. Jean has been working seasonally for McDonald Garden Center in various departments since 2020. She is a Virginia Certified Horticulturist with the Virginia Nursery and Landscape Association, as well as a Certified Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professional. She is excited to design sustainable landscapes for clients – a place to enjoy outdoor living while co-existing with nature.
