Echinacea sombrero lemon yellow is a vibrant perennial with 3” golden-yellow flowers, featuring wide, overlapping petals around a copper cone. Its well-branched, sturdy stems are upright, providing a vibrant display from early to late summer, with sporadic blooms until frost. Compact and perfect for small gardens and containers, it’s also an excellent cut flower.
Watering Requirements
Regularly while flowering – once or twice weekly for the first three months after planting. Once established, aim for 1” per week.
Feeding Requirements
Once a year lightly with a balanced slow-release fertilizer. Apply in spring.

Deadhead spent blooms throughout the blooming season. Cut back to 3” above soil in winter.
