Plant Bio:

Snow queen hydrangea is a large, dense, white flower clusters are held upright above dark green oak-leaf shaped foliage. The midsummer blooms develop a rosy-pink hue in the fall as the leaves turn deep red-bronze. Tan-brown exfoliating bark is an attractive trait in the winter. Great as a flowering hedge.

Watering Requirements

Often – once or twice weekly, and more often in extreme heat. At least 1” per week.

Feeding Requirements

Twice a year with a balanced slow-release fertilizer. Apply in late spring after the last frost and in early summer.

Pruning Time & Tips

Annually in early summer. Prune to maintain shape and cut off any crossing limbs.

Common Pests & Diseases

Powdery Mildew, Leaf Spot, Botrytis, Red Spider Mites and Aphids.

4-5’ x 5-6’
