Plant Bio:

Autumn lily encore azalea is a mounded re-blooming azalea with single from white blooms that occasionally have purple stripes. It features a compact growth habit, dark green foliage, and blooms in spring, summer and fall.

Watering Requirements

Often – once or twice weekly, or more often in extreme heat. At least 1” per week.

Feeding Requirements

Once or twice a year with an acidic slow-release fertilizer. Apply in late spring after last frost and early August.

Pruning Time & Tips

Annually in late winter or very early spring after finished fall blooming. Prune to maintain shape and dense growth.

Common Pests & Diseases

Leaf Spot, Petal Blight, Azalea Lace Bugs and Spider Mites.

Troubleshooting:

If you see large populations of lace bugs or spider mites, spray the insects directly with neem oil or an insecticidal soap to reduce their impact. Spray in late winter and repeat applications every other week until pests are under control.
