Plant Bio:
Black tie camellia is prized for its exquisite, formal, double, deep true-red flowers that appear in late winter through early spring. This is a taller growing camellia with an upright growth habit, ideal for a specimen, in groupings, or as a hedge or background planting. The flowers are excellent for cutting and they look great in a vase or floating in a bowl of water.

Moderately – when the top 3” of soil is dry. Especially during hot dry spells. At least 1” per week.
