Plant Bio:

Everillo carex (sedge grass) is a mounding fountain of lime green leaves that age to gold. It adds wonderful texture to the garden and a pop of color. Excellent deer resistant foliage make it great in a lot of landscape, as well as in container gardening.

Watering Requirements

Regularly – weekly, or more often in extreme heat or in containers. At least 1” per week.

Feeding Requirements

Once a year with a balanced slow-release fertilizer. Apply in late spring after the last frost.

Pruning Time & Tips

Cut back in winter.

No major pests or diseases.

Troubleshooting:

This grass-like plant is evergreen so you don’t have to cut back the foliage each winter, but it does help to keep the plant looking tidy. Even in our mild winters some of the leaves can get burned and bedraggled by the end of the winter season.
