Happy returns daylily is a favorite perennial prized for its showy blooms. The large clump of long, grass-like, green foliage is highlighted by bright yellow flowers on tall stems. This extra-early bloomer reblooms throughout the summer months. An herbaceous perennial that returns each spring.

Watering Requirements

Regularly – weekly, or more often in extreme heat. At least 1” per week.

Feeding Requirements

Once a year with a balanced slow-release fertilizer. Apply in late spring after the last frost.

Pruning Time & Tips

Cut back in the early spring or late fall to 3” above soil.

Daylily Rust, Leaf Streak, Crown Rot, Shoestring Root Rot and Viruses.
