Junior Walker Catmint
Plant Bio:
Junior walker catmint is a superb compact selection with finely textured, aromatic, gray-green foliage and soft, lavender spikes with a low, spreading habit. A sterile dwarf form of walker’s low catmint. Excellent for cascading off walls or container edges and as groundcover that tolerates periodic drought, when well-established. A herbaceous perennial.
Watering Requirements
Deeply and regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system. Once established, reduce frequency; Tolerates moderate drought.
Feeding Requirements
Apply lightly, once a year, with a granular slow-release fertilizer. Apply in late spring after the last frost.
Pruning Time & Tips
Deadhead throughout the growing season – cut back to 3-4” tall in late winter or early spring.
Common Pests & Diseases
Aphids, Leafhoppers, Slugs, Snails, Spider Mites, Whiteflies, Crown and Root Rot.

15-18” x 30-36”
Troubleshooting:
If spider mites appear, look for small light specks on the leaves, which may eventually discolor, scorch, and die off. Downy webs on leaf undersides are another indicator. Use neem oil or insecticidal soap to reduce their impact.
