Plant Bio:

The kousa dogwood is a wonderfully tough variety of dogwood that produces a heavenly array of star-like blooms in spring. In summer, its intriguing canopy of layered branches provides shade and beauty. In Autumn, it offers a spectacular foliage display of red leaves which fall to reveal the interesting jigsaw-like bark in winter.

Watering Requirements

Regularly – weekly, or more often in extreme heat or in containers. About 1” per week.

Feeding Requirements

Once a year with a balanced slow-release fertilizer. Apply in late spring after the last frost.

Pruning Time & Tips

Annually in late winter if needed. Prune to remove dead, injured branches, or infected parts.
