Plant Bio:

Nanho blue butterfly bush is a great cultivar of butterfly bush that features mauve-blue flowers. It is a deciduous shrub with an arching, spreading habit. It blooms from June through to September and sometimes all the way until first frost. The flowers are fragrant and sit atop willowy gray-green foliage. Makes a great cut flower.

Watering Requirements

Regularly – weekly, or more often in extreme heat or in containers. At least 1” per week.

Feeding Requirements

Once a year with a balanced slow-release fertilizer. Apply in late spring after the last frost.

Pruning Time & Tips

Annually in late winter or very early spring. Cut back to 12’ above the ground to rejuvenate next year’s growth.
