Plant Bio:

Patriot hosta is a gorgeous variegated hosta that will grow and fill in at a moderate pace each spring. It forms a low-growing clump of vibrantly colored green leaves that have distinct white borders. The leaves themselves are large and round, coming to a soft point. In late spring or early summer, they will begin to grow long stalks that extend beyond the foliage and eventually erupt into light purple flowers, which are a favorite of several pollinators.

Watering Requirements

Regularly – weekly, or more often in extreme heat or in containers. At least 1” per week.

Feeding Requirements

Once a year with a balanced slow-release fertilizer. Apply in spring once new growth emerges.

Divide plants every 3-4 years.
