Plant Bio:
Soft caress mahonia features soft bamboo-like leaves arranged alternately on each side of gently arching,
throneless, stems. It flowers in mid-winter with sprays of sunny yellow flowers atop the evergreen foliage.
Watering Requirements
Regularly – once weekly, or more often in extreme heat. At least 1” per week.
Feeding Requirements
Once a year with a balanced slow-release fertilizer. Apply in spring.
Pruning Time & Tips
Light shaping annually in early spring. Cutting back by 1/3rd every three years or so.

No major pests or common diseases.

Troubleshooting:
This mahonia can send out shoots from the root crown. It is possible to split the plant clump with a sharp spade in spring to divide the plantings. Re-plant the divisions in your garden or else gift them to a friend!
