Plant Bio:

Sweet tea heucherella is a hybrid genus produced from a cross between heuchera and tiarella. ‘Sweet tea’ forms a clump of large, dissected foliage in a very unique shade of orange. The spring foliage is a gorgeous shade of apricot orange with a burgundy center blotch, and as the weather warms up the foliage darkens in color. Coppery orange, russet, and cinnamon tones dominate in summer.

Watering Requirements

Regularly – weekly, or more often in extreme heat or in containers. At least 1” per week.

Feeding Requirements

Once a year with a balanced slow-release fertilizer. Apply in late spring after last frost or early summer.

Pruning Time & Tips

Cut back to 3-4” above soil level annually in late winter or very early spring.
