Plant Bio:

Winter red winterberry holly shrub has a multi-stemmed growth habit in addition to its lustrous foliage and berry production, making it a stunning addition to any winter landscape. The berries appear in late summer and persist all winter, attracting birds. The best berry display will occur when the shrub is fully established in the landscape, usually after 2-3 years in the ground.

Watering Requirements

Regularly – weekly, or more often in extreme heat. At least 1” per week.

Feeding Requirements

Once a year, lightly, with an acidic slow-release fertilizer. Apply in early spring after the last frost.

Pruning Time & Tips

Cut branches only selectively to enjoy stems in arrangements.

Common Pests & Diseases

Anthracnose, Powdery Mildew and Varnish Rot Fungus.
