Background
Born and raised in Virginia, I had a lifetime love of gardening. I decided to turn my hobby into a career and went back to school after my children were raised. I got my degree in Horticulture at Tidewater Community college and the rest is history!
When I'm not working
I’m traveling, hosting dinners, taking day trips, meeting new people and dogs, and just generally celebrate! I always find a reason to celebrate someone or something.
Gardening Advice
Have a plan! Impulse buying or purchasing just one or two of a plant you like will not make you happy in the long run.

Purple Iris, Daphne, Cryptomeria globosa, and Oak trees (keystone plant)
